The first edition of the Best Luxury Hotel Awards, the new recognition of excellence in Italian hospitality, took place on 2 July 2024 in the enchanting setting of the Hotel Principe di Savoia in Milan.
The event, conceived and organised by Teamwork Hospitality with the contribution of Elle Decor and EHMA (European Hotel Manager Association), was attended by 300 guests, 30 finalists and 10 winners.
The ten categories in the competition were: best service, restaurant, bar, breakfast, spa&wellness, sustainability, technology, design, new opening, general manager.
An award created to certify the flagships of the Italian destination, which aims to become an annual recognition for luxury accommodation facilities that stand out for offering an exceptional experience to their guests.
“The Best Luxury Hotel Awards“, says Mauro Santinato, President of Teamwork Hospitality, “celebrate the excellence of Italian hospitality in all its aspects, from the best guest service to the best technological innovation. This initiative is part of a larger project, which also includes Teamwork’s organisation of the Luxury Hospitality Conference, the first event in Italy dedicated to luxury in the hospitality sector, this year in its fourth edition“.
After an initial meeting of the jury on 27th June in Milan, a second appointment is planned for 30th July.
The 10 winners will then be awarded at the Hotel Principe di Savoia in Milan, on the evening of 25th September 2024.
The evening will be presented by Cristina Parodi, journalist and entrepreneur.
