In conjunction with the Milan Art Week 2024, MEGA, a meeting place dedicated to contemporary art, will take place from 10 to 14 April 2024, hosting a selection of international galleries, artists and independent magazines.
The first edition of MEGA will reopen the doors of the Scalo di Porta Genova in Milan, helping to revitalise an urban regeneration project in the heart of the city and working in close collaboration with the Tortona – Navigli district and its inhabitants.
The 17 participating international galleries include König gallery, promising young Milanese artists such as L.U.P.O and F2T, and London rising stars of the calibre of Harlesden High Street and Nicoletti.
Conceived by BeAdvisors Art Department and Mattia Pozzoni Art Advisory together with Fabio Lucarelli and Burro Studio, open until midnight, MEGA aims to become a space in the city where people meet to chat, listen to music and talk while relaxing over a cocktail, connecting artists, gallerists, curators and even the merely curious.
Significant is the dialogue woven with various bodies and institutions at the local, national and international level that stimulate the resonance of the event and its active impact on various fronts. MEGA is in fact sponsored by the Lombardy Region, the Municipality of Milan and City Hall 6.
Within MEGA and in collaboration with Frab’s Magazine, there will be a book & magazine corner and an area reserved for media partners.
