Thanks to PDLC technology, VK Design in opaque mode blocks UV rays and provides greater solar shading than a conventional double-glazed unit: the interior of the house remains naturally cooler and energy consumption due to air conditioning systems is reduced. VK Design is even more resistant to mechanical stress thanks to the PDLC technology combined with laminated plastics inside the glass, and is certified in class 1(B)1, the highest in the laminated safety glass category. Perfect for residential and contract projects, as well as having passed high temperature and humidity tests, it does not produce separate fragments in the event of breakage.
VK Design allows design to the millimetre and without limits, which is why it is particularly suitable for public places, private residences, as well as hospitality spaces and even yachts and boats. It is, in fact, made strictly by hand, but with an industrial production system that maximises function and aesthetics. It is available in all thicknesses on the market, as well as in various colours and types, such as extra light, bronzed, grey and special decors. In addition, it is tested over 100,000 hours of operation and allows easy maintenance of electrical components, without compromising the glass.
